Apparel retail company Gap Inc. announced the appointment of Jeffrey Hogue as its new Chief Sustainability Officer.
Hogue joins Gap from Levi Strauss, where he has served as Chief Sustainability Officer since 2020. Prior to joining Levi Strauss, he served as Chief Sustainability Officer for fashion retailer C&A, and as Senior Director of Global Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Sustainability at McDonald’s.
Hogue will succeed former Gap CSO Daniel Fibiger in the role. Fibiger announced his plans to step down from the role earlier this year, after leading sustainability at the company since 2023.
In a post announcing the new appointment, Sally Gilligan, Chief Supply Chain and Transformation Officer at Gap, said:
“As we continue our work to bridge gaps and create a better world, Jeff will lead our efforts across climate and equity, helping advance meaningful impact for our business, our communities, and the people we serve. He will also serve on the Gap Foundation Board, supporting our commitment to creating opportunities and strengthening communities around the world.”
