Sustainability Data Platform Tracera Appoints Co-founder Sandeep Chand as New CEO

Sustainability data platform Tracera announced the appointment of co-founder Sandeep Chand as its new CEO, succeeding fellow co-founder Patrick Obeid in the role.

Incubated at Bain & Company in 2022, New York-based Tracera – formerly called ESG Flo – provides solutions aimed at enabling companies to simplify ESG data collection, verification, and reporting, covering areas ranging from data collection, carbon accounting and regulatory compliance to advisory services and corporate reporting across frameworks including CSRD, IFRS/ISSB, CDP, and California’s SB 253 and SB 261.

Chand has served as the company’s CTO, guiding Tracera’s product and engineering since launch. Prior to co-founding Tracera, he served as chief technology officer at Caroo and Rocketrip and led engineering organizations at WorkStride and iCIMS.
