Northern Europe-based asset manager Nordea Asset Management announced the launch of three new sustainable equity funds as part of its active BetaPlus index range of investment products, including funds focused on Eurozone companies, and European and U.S. small caps.
The new funds were introduced alongside an announcement by Nordea that the BetaPlus range has reached €100 billion in AuM. The enhanced index suite is designed to offer investors the diversification and cost efficiency benefits of index investing, along with the potential for excess returns of actively managed strategies with a limited level of active risk.
The BetaPlus range is available in both traditional and sustainable versions, with the latter adhering to high ESG standards, including Paris-Aligned Benchmark compliance.
The new funds include BetaPlus Enhanced Euroland Sustainable Equity Fund, BetaPlus Enhanced European Sustainable Small Cap Equity Fund, and BetaPlus Enhanced US Sustainable Small Cap Equity Fund.
Christophe Girondel, Deputy CEO of Nordea Asset Management, said:
“Asset allocators increasingly seek building blocks that deliver consistent alpha with cost efficiency. BetaPlus solutions have been developed precisely to meet these needs. We will continue to broaden the platform, both on the equity and fixed income side, with new strategies that respond to evolving investor demand.”
