UK-based asset manager Algebris Investments announced the acquisition of Spanish renewable energy advisory and asset manager firm Vector Renewables from renewable power producer Nadara.
The acquisition was made through its Algebris Green Transition Fund, launched by the firm in 2022, with a focus on areas including the energy transition, circular economy, smart cities and agritech. The transaction marks the fund’s first international acquisition.
Founded in 2005, Madrid-based Vector provides asset management, technical and legal advisory services across the renewable energy project lifecycle, supporting solar, wind, battery storage and hybrid projects from development through operations, M&A and financing. The company also provides NUO, its cloud-based digital asset management platform, which uses automation and data analytics to provide real-time monitoring and insights into the technical and financial performance of renewable energy assets. The company was acquired by Nadara in 2014.

According to the fund, the transaction reflects its strategy of investing in technology-oriented businesses that enable the energy transition, strengthen infrastructure resilience and accelerate the global adoption of scalable renewable energy solutions. The fund added that the acquisition will support the expansion of its international footprint.
